OVERVIEW

Bette, known to her students as Mrs. Pinkerton, died on Thursday, 2005 February 3, as the result of injuries sustained in a car crash in Riverside. The loss of this favorite long-time teacher touched her students, of all types, and their families around the world. Her life was celebrated at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Riverside California Stake Center on Friday, 2005 February 11, at 4pm. Interment was at Riverside National Cemetery on Monday, 2005 February 14, at 11am. Mrs. Pinkerton's spirit lives on in her compilation CHARACTER EDUCATION ACROSS THE CURRICULUM, the tributes she has been paid, and THE BETTE PINKERTON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND.
